Partners

Work with us on the hard part: showing what is below, and how sure we are

The program is at research stage and has no partners yet. These are the three ways a collaboration could be set up, and what each side brings.

Three ways to work together

Each path says what we offer, what we ask, and what must be true first.

Research collaboration

Concept

Joint work on methods, with open questions and shared review.

What we offer

  • Open descriptions of the methods and the synthetic benchmarks they are tested on
  • Joint reporting of results, including the ones that do not work
  • Review of your methods against the same benchmarks

What we ask

  • Domain expertise in geophysics, inversion or marine acquisition
  • Critical review of our assumptions and tests
  • Agreement on how results are shared and credited

Data partnership

Concept

Testing the methods on your data, under your licence, with the data never redistributed.

What we offer

  • Analysis run under the terms of your licence, with a record of what was done
  • Results and the uncertainty reported back to you first
  • Deletion of the data when the agreement ends, if you ask

What we ask

  • A licensed subset with documented provenance and acquisition details
  • A clear statement of what the licence allows us to do and to publish
  • A named contact who can answer questions about the data

Pilot partnership

Concept

A small, partner-led field exercise, once the groundwork exists.

What we offer

  • Method design and analysis of the data you collect
  • A written plan for how the result will be judged before the work starts
  • Reporting that keeps the uncertainty with the result

What we ask

  • Operations led by the partner, under the partner own safety rules
  • Shared review of the results before anything is said in public

Before anything starts

  • Permits for the work are in place
  • Environmental approvals are in place
  • The partner leads the operations
